TECNICAS DEL CABLE has successfully completed the delivery of power and control cable to be used in Ma´Adem Phosphate Company, sited in Ras Az Zaw, in Saudi Arabia.
We supported Intecsa Industrial, an international leading contractor in EPC projects for the hydrocarbons production and processing industry with 50 years’ experience in Engineering, “Turn-key” execution of industrial plants and supply of technological packages.
This has been a major project as the complex, sited in of Ras Az Zawr, has four ammonium phosphate plants, one of the five largest in the world having a daily production capacity of 9,000 tons resulting an annual 3 million tons of phosphates.
Ma'aden's Phosphate business currently consists of Ma'aden Phosphate Company, a joint venture with SABIC in which Ma'aden owns 70% and SABIC 30%, and the Wa'ad Al Shamal Project. Ma'aden, Mosaic, and SABIC owns 60%, 25% and 15% of the project respectively.
