Reunidas in the Latin American market.
AES Dominicana, through Dominican Power
Partners, DPP, awarded Técnicas Reunidas (TR), the execution of the conversion
to combined cycle of its Los Mina Power Plant in Santo Domingo, Dominican
Republic. The contract has a value of approximately 140 million dollars being
the first contract for TR with the AES group. The new power plant will add 114
MWe of new power generation capacity to the existing 210 MWe open
cycle.
AES Dominicana, is responsible for
approximately 37% of the energy injected in the national electrical system. It
groups Dominican Power Partners (DPP), AES Andres and ITABO S.A., as well as two
important port facilities.
